<p style="text-align: left;">Skkye and Michael’s story began in Jackson, Wyoming, during a birthday road trip with one of Skkye’s best friends, Hadley. They met on the very first night, instantly clicked, and then—just like in the movies—went their separate ways without swapping numbers. But fate wasn’t done with them yet. On the very last night of the trip, they crossed paths again, and this time, the spark stuck.  A month later, Michael traveled to Memphis, where Skkye was in law school, and asked her to be his girlfriend—complete with a necklace of the Tetons to mark where it all began. From long-distance days filled with milestones to finally building a life together in New Mexico (with their two pups, Max and Henry, of course), their story has been filled with love, adventure, and plenty of laughter.  When it came time to propose, Michael brought it full circle—back to Jackson, under the Teton mountains at Jenny Lake. Now, they’re so excited to celebrate their next chapter surrounded by family and friends in Austin, Texas, in the fall of 2026!<br /></p>

Nikki and Skkye met freshman year of college as next- door-neighbors in the dorms. They soon became besties, and have walked hand-in-hand through all of their most important phases of life. Skkye was the Maid of Honor in Nikki’s wedding too ◡̈

Zoe and Skkye have been best friends since they were seven! They have quite actually been through everything together. Skkye and Zoe went to college an hour away from each other so they spent every weekend and more together. Zoe now lives her life as an Air Force Wife and a mother to a beautiful little girl, and two doggos. While Skkye and Zoe often find themselves living on opposite ends of the country, they are usually still very involved in one another’s major milestones.

Hadley and Skkye met at thirteen years old and have been best friends ever since. Skkye and Hadley’s friendship is best described as: twin flames, soulmates, friends-in-every-lifetime-friends. They now live in neighboring towns and started a wedding coordinating business together.

Austin and its surrounding area is known for its delicious BBQ! The groom’s personal favorite is Terry Black’s. If you have time to try any out, we’d love to know your favorite!

October might be a little chilly, but Barton Springs Pool is a public swimming pool in Austin, that is all natural and spring-fed. It’s connected to Austin’s famous Zilker Park.
